Le Festin de Vampire ~ Chapter 03-10

03-10 Leisure Talk

Warning Note: The author said that this chapter is pretty much R-15 ish and not everyone might enjoy it so proceed with caution.

“Can you stand up?” demanded Sherianna as she grabbed Alysia’s arm after she moved behind her.

“Yep,” answered Alysia as she stood up next to Sherianna and turned her body around. She pulled her hair to the left and offered the nape of her neck to Sherianna.
Until now she had probably been bitten several times when she got her blood sucked. However, that fact was belied by the beautiful white skin on the nape of her neck that lacked even a single scar.

Sherianna gripped Alysia’s shoulder tight as if telling her that there was no running away as she began feeling up the smooth skin on Alysia’s nape. She was trying to find out the location of her blood vessels.
As a matter of fact, last time Sherianna had tried to find one by guessing and ended up biting into Alysia’s small veins. On top of not being able to savour the desired sweetness of Alysia’s artery blood, she ended up having to bite her many times over. In order to avoid all that, this time Sherianna had opted to feel it up first.
”…Found it!” Sherianna shouted as she felt the sensation on her fingertips. She confirmed that she had found the location of the warm artery vessels on the spot she was touching.
”It’s fine, right? Itadakima―su!” Sherianna said politely as she sank her fangs deep into Alysia’s nape.

”Ah….Wait, it tickles…”

The sharp fangs of the young vampire effortlessly penetrated Alysia’s smooth skin. Having found out the location beforehand, Sherianna was able to get to Alysia’s artery pretty easily as fresh red blood started to overflow from her neck. She started licking Alysia without a moment’s delay and stuck her lips close to her neck as if kissing it.

Feeling vexed by the fact that she was stuck being on the sucked, she turned her neck around hoping to begin a mutual blood-sucking.
Nonetheless, Sherianna also moved every time she turned her neck around and she was unable to bite her at all.
“Let me, suck you too…”

”…Puhaa! No. You’ve sucked me enough before,” answered Sherianna as she buried her face into Alysia’s neck once more after separating from it for a brief moment. And then, she started sucking her blood even more intensely than before.

”…Ah!!” Alysia moaned as her body grew limp and fell to her knees.
Obviously, that wasn’t enough to stop Sherianna. She laid Alysia’s body down like as if putting her to sleep. Sherianna placed her body on top of Alysia’s and started sucking her blood.

“Hey?”

“Haa, what…”

“My blood, wanna suck it?” asked Sherianna as she lifted her mouth and looked at Alysia’s face.

At the end of the day, Sherianna may have wanted Alysia to suck her blood after all. Alysia sat up on the floor and she pulled Sherianna’s upper body towards her as she buried her face in her neck.

And then, she began sucking her blood.
No one cared whether their uniforms were stained with blood, or that a pool of blood was forming on the floor. On the fact that they were able to sate their cravings and indulge in each other’s blood mattered.
The blood on their chins and necks dripped inside their uniforms, dying them red. When their uniforms rubbed the floor, lines of blood were formed as if being drawn by a brush.

Nevertheless, like humans, vampires would eventually lose their consciousness if they kept losing their blood. A few minutes later, as a consequence of losing too much blood, they were attacked by a heavy dizziness all of a sudden.

Alysia and Sherianna fell on the floor while clinging to each other. However, both of them still haven’t separated their mouths from each other’s neck.

――It’s not that we don’t want to, we just can’t.
On top of having their body grown limp because of having their blood sucked, their body also felt languid because of their blood deficiency.

And so, Lisel looked at the two collapse into the floor and said ― “…Vampires are amazing, eh.”

”Wouldn’t it have been great…Haa, if you had conformed to a vampire instead?”

”To be honest I do regret it. But, I still have to stay this way for another 10 years.”

――It seems that I seriously regret the fact that I hadn’t become a vampire.

Ultimately, Lisel carried the two unconscious girls to bed.

03-09 Lisel’s Visit

Editor: TechTrad

The two of them returned to the southern part of the academy where all the dormitory buildings were in. They walked past Dorm A ―which was Lisel’s Dorm― and went inside Dorm D where Alysia’s room was located in.
As they walked along the hallway which was decorated with red carpet, they saw a door at the innermost part of the area. The word D204 was engraved on the board hung in front of the door. That was Alysia’s room.

As Alysia took out her student ID, Lisel brought his face close to her ear and spoke softly― “Wait.”

”Wahyaa…!?”
Having someone speak softly into her ear when she wasn’t expecting it got Alysia surprised and she ended up letting out a weird squeal. She quickly turned around to face Lisel while somewhat blushing and said, rather flustered―”Wh-wha-wha―what are you…!!”

”Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you. It’s just…can you lend me your student ID?”

“…Sure,” answered Alysia in a low voice while facing down as she handed the student ID she was holding to Lisel.
The whole reason why he did that was just so that he could enter Alysia’s room before her and surprise Fian. Therefore, he needed her student ID to unlock the door.

*door opened*

”Is someone…!?”
However, before Lisel had the chance to, Sherianna had opened the door because she heard people talking in front of the room. Although, for some reason, Sherianna froze on the spot as soon as she came out.

”Sheria? What’s wrong?” asked Alysia, as she tried to review her current situation. Alysia had turned her face around as soon as Lisel brought his face close to her ear. Naturally, their faces were in a very close proximity.

“…Alya, you had a boyfriend!?”

“I―don’t!!” said Alysia as she grabbed Sherianna out of extreme embarrassment.

Lisel, the concerned party, was just looking at the two without saying a word. Even though if he had said something, he could have probably solved Sherianna’s misunderstanding.

As she stood there, Sherianna began to guess the identity of the (misunderstood) Alysia’s boyfriend. She asked, timidly ― “Say, aren’t you Lisel-kun?”

”I am, what’s up?”

Sherianna’s guess was correct. From there, she started to build up a conjecture about the two’s relationship based on the incorrect misunderstandings.

――As expected, Alya doesn’t seem to be interested in someone who’s weak. Lisel seemed pretty strong during the tournament, and if Lisel had liked Alya even back then, I can understand why he would give up the match for her!!

“Guys, Fia, Claire!! Alya has a boyfr―mmphh.”

”Like I said, he’s not my boyfriend!!”

Alysia didn’t know what Sherianna was thinking when she suddenly ran inside and started shouting. Alysia seized Sherianna’s neck from behind and stopped her. Naturally, what happened after was very dangerous.
Lisel still did nothing but watch them, while Sherianna continued spouting nonsense. Alysia grabbed both of their necks and dragged them inside while looking somewhat angry.

The three of them entered the room and sat on a circle around a desk, along with the other two people who were inside the room from the beginning. Despite the earlier confusion, Lisel was calmly sitting right next to Alysia on her right.
Sherianna thought it was strange after all as she stared at them while sitting to the left of Alysia. Although she stopped after being glared at.

”…I’ll say this just in case, but me and Lisel are just friends. Don’t get the wrong idea, please.

“Y―yes!” Sherianna’s body involuntarily trembled in response to Alysia’s overbearing remark. On the other hand, Fian and Claire looked confused as they had no idea as to what was going on at all.

”So, what did you come here for, Lisel?”

”I just wanted to kill some time, and I don’t even know where Lasel went.”
Lasel was the name of Lisel’s stepbrother. Alysia hadn’t gotten the chance to really talk to him when they met at the tournament some time ago, but it appears that they were unexpectedly getting along rather well as siblings.

”Fine. Then, I’ll go prepare some drinks so just wait here while talking or something.”
Alysia was bad at cooking. However, when it comes to luxury grocery items― such as medicinal plants ― she was pretty exceptional at brewing them compared to other people.
Drinks were of course not an exception to that. Having the taste of a noble, Alysia has learned the way from her mother. A wise man used to say, the joy of brewing is also part of enjoying a drink, and leaving everything to your servants is out of the question.

“Yes.”

A few minutes later. Alysia placed the drinks that she brewed on a tray and placed it on the desk where everyone was sitting. She placed each of the drink in front of everyone while listening to their talks.

”It’s good,” said Claire, who was the first to had a taste. Alysia perhaps felt happy to have someone compliment her drink as she had a full-on smile while drinking her cup.

“Hey, Alya?”

”What?” replied Alysia after she gulped the drink inside her mouth.

Sherianna had finished more than half of her cup when she placed her cup back on the table and asked ― “You haven’t forgotten your promise, right?”

”………..Ah,” responded Alysia as she recalled what Sherianna had said to her before she left the dorm.

――Let me suck your blood when you come back.

Alysia didn’t know why Sherianna brought up the topic suddenly, but it might have been because she got reminded of it after seeing the scarlet colour of the drink.

“…Ah, later.”

“No way, I want to suck you now,” pleaded Sherianna as she stood up and walked over to Alysia before she stopped right behind her. Thinking that she would probably chase after her even if she ran away, Alysia half-resigned herself to her fate of getting her blood sucked by Sherianna.

A few moments later, after the continuous blood-sucking, Sherianna and Alysia ultimately collapsed on the living room’s floor.
Seeing that, Lisel muttered ― “…Vampires are amazing, eh.”

”Wouldn’t it have been great…Haa, if you had conformed to a vampire instead?”

”To be honest I do regret it. But, I still have to stay this way for another 10 years.”
The conversation between the two was rather strange but impressive. Apparently, when you harmonise, you will be stuck in that body for a set period of time. Therefore, for another 10 years, Lisel wouldn’t be able to turn into a vampire.
Needless to say ― neither Fian, Sheriana, nor Claire had any idea as to what the two were talking about.

“I would like to become one, too, someday…”

”Did you say something?”

”Nah, it’s nothing.”
Such was the conversation that the two had right before Alysia fainted.

Le Festin de Vampire ~ Chapter 03-08

03-08 The Outcome of the Commission

Editor: TechTrad

“Hey, drink this.”

“Thank you.” In the corner of the guild hall, Alysia sat across the guild receptionist with a desk between them. His name was apparently Groove.
She drank the orange juice she was given in one big gulp and looked straight at him. “Including the previous matter, what was the outcome of the commission?”

“Well, firstly, regarding the commission…” Groove took a deep breath and spread the papers he had on his lap on the table in order. There were six sheets in total. The writings were so small and packed so closely together that Alysia lost all will to read it.
“There are six sheets of papers, and three of these official documents are for one part of the commission. I will explain everything in order.”

“Yeah,” Alysia responded as she leaned her upper body towards the desk. Alysia then started skimming the rough details of sheets. One sheet was regarding her reward, two sheets were regarding the post-treatment of the bandits, and the last three sheets of papers were for her guild rank.
The first two sheets of the last three were not worth mentioning, but the content of the last sheet of paper was so surprising that Alysia reflexively asked Groove for an explanation. “Umm, what happened to my guild rank?”

“Yes, right now you’re still F-rank, but the commission that you’d taken was for B or C-rank, right? A level three commission is C-rank, and commissions of level four or higher are considered B-rank. The thing is, if you finished a commission of rank four or higher, you’d basically receive an instant promotion.”

Inside her brain, Alysia was trying to process the information which she just heard and the things that she had understood so far. In the end, she arrived at a conclusionー “Ah, so basically, I’m an E-rank now?”

“Yes. To get a promotion on your first commission, you’re probably the first in this academy…”, Groove said, astonished, as Alysia listened carefully. She had her lips on the cup and was only letting out “Nnnn” sound.
“So basically as a reward, in addition to the 24 silver coins that were promised, you were given permission to take a total of 10 morts (50 kg) of the ores that you want. But, you have no use for it, right?”
What Groove said was reasonable. In the case of buying a new weapon or repair, if you have ores you’d be able to get them done at a lower cost or have a weapon made for you as a priority order. It would probably be an advantageous reward to adventurers who wield weapons. However, the one who finished the commission this time is a student of a magic sorcerer academyーーwho happened to be a smol loli.
“So basically, adding the ores to the reward money….”

“You don’t have to do that.”

“10 silver coins….ーEh?” Groove was bewildered as he heard the unexpected reply. Alysia felt amused seeing his reaction, and let out a small laugh.

“Like I said, you can just leave it be. I just happen to be in need of some ores.” In actuality, in order to fix Eunice’s sword, Alysia had decided that she would produce the metals needed on her own, using ores. Using her own ability to transform matter, she also wanted to check the limit to what she could create.

“Fair enough, you can get the ores directly from them. Though, regarding the third matter, what are you going to do after sending the bandits to the kingdom?”

“It’s a secret!” Alysia answered with high vigour as her whole face turned into a smile.

“Ah, right…” After hearing that kind of reply, no one would be in the mood to pry further. With a complicated expression on his faceーwhich is a mixture of regret and delightーGroove started to collect the papers on the desk.
“With this, we’re finally done. I recommend that you keep the documents. Now, I’ll go inside for a bit and get you your reward money.”

“Yeah.” Alysia received the six sheets of paper from Groove. He then stood up and walked towards the interior of the reception area. The reason why he handed out the documents to Alysia was that in the future, it will become an extremely useful certification of Alysia’s personal history.

Clinking sounds resounded in the hall as the receptionist, Groove, walked out from the interior. He stood next to Alysia and called out to herー “Here are the 24 silver coins.”
He crouched and handed over the silver coins which were packed inside a pouch to Alysia.

“Thank you.”

“You don’t need to thank me. You worked for it.” The reward this time was a total of 24 silver coins, which was exactly two gold coins, which amounted to the weekly living cost of a plebeian household in general. It was a considerably hefty sum for a young girl to receive by herself, even if she was of noble birth. It wasn’t strange that she had inadvertently let out a word of gratitude.

Incidentally, the value of a gold coin is equal to 12 silver coins and one silver coin has the same value as eight copper coins. Including the Ircusu Kingdom, this system is being used by a total of five kingdoms, therefore this currency is pretty much ubiquitous in a considerably large area. Going further, there is a coin whose value is the equivalent of 20 gold coins, which is called platinum coin. However, it is mostly utilised in the transactions between countries and never really appears in the market.

“Okay then, you’re gonna be here again tomorrow morning, right?”

“I am.” Tomorrow morning, the carriages with the bandits on board will head for the royal capital. Alysia will head for the capital alongside them. It will take a full day but she can’t possibly use her flying magic so it can’t be helped.

“Take care and come home safely.”

“You don’t say,” said Alysia as she shook Groove’s hand lightly. She then pushed the guild’s door open and returned to her dorm room…ーwas supposed to be what happened.

“Yo!”

“…Ah.” In front of the guild was Lisel who was standing there for some reason. He drew closer as soon as she saw Alysia, took her hand and started walking.
That development probably made them look like siblings who were close to each other. As one would expect, no one would probably see them as lovers, based on their height difference.
“Wait, Yuu. What are you…”

“I was thinking of intruding your room for a bit.”

“If you’re gonna intrude then go home,” Alysia replied. Hearing her rejection, Lisel just laughed and put his other hand on top of Alysia’s shoulder. On the contrary, Alysia had a sullen look on her face.

“Come on, don’t say that. It’s fine, right?”

“…Well, it’s fine, but.”

“O-kay, let’s go then.” Eventually, Alysia ended up quarrelling about whether they would to take a bath together or not, and she ultimately caved in. Thus, Lisel and Alysia headed towards the dorm room together.

03-04 Bandit Hideout 3

Editors: Kuroe, C. Mickael

After laying down the boy who had become tired after crying, Alysia stood up to look at the situation of the people in the dungeon. The tears from the boy and the dirt from the dungeon that dirtied her chest was less than trivial at this point. She was already determined to defeat the boss of the bandits and free everyone here as soon as possible.

Looking around, everyone was either sitting on a box, leaning against the wall, or looking around in a daze while rolling around on the ground. Everyone looked so depressed they didn’t have the will to keep living.

However, there were still a few individuals that stared at Alysia with hope burning in their eyes.

They thought that Alysia might be the goddess and saviour whom they had been waiting for.

All of their heavy expectations did nothing but burden her. Furthermore, seeing her appearance, it’s no surprise that someone would mistake her for a goddess.

Anyhow, a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, and Alysia began by illuminating the dark cave which was lit by only one lamp powered by elementary light magic.

“Illuminate!”

“…!?”

“Wha⸺? Whoa…This is…?!”

Alysia placed her hands in front of her chest, and illuminated the whole dungeon with enough light. That spectacle looked divine to everyone present.
Incidentally, Alysia used the light spell after confirming that people without night vision were present in the dungeon.

“Healing Sphere…there.”

Alysia had erected a healing barrier inside the dungeon.. The barrier healed everyone that was present inside the barrier in one go.
The amount of mana used for this magic is dependent on the number of people under the effect of the barrier. Though it was but a meagre amount to her.

Alysia started to speak to the catkin man who was sitting on the ground. He was one of the four people who were brought to the dungeon together with Alysia.

“I’m gonna let you guys out of here. Everyone can just wait here. I’ll just go beat the big boss for a bit and come back.”

“You sure it’s alright? Didn’t they manage to catch you earlier?”

“Well, I was just a bit careless…”

“I was really worried…really…”

Conveying his concern, the man looked down and went silent. Even though the dark cave was illuminated by light magic, it was still impossible to discern someone’s facial expression.

“Just don’t forget to come back…go, quickly.”

“Hehe, got it. Go tell everyone else while you’re at it.”

Sensing ‘something’ under the pretense of his blunt speaking manner, a smile floated upon Alysia’s face as she walked out.
Looking at her back, the man muttered in a small voice.

“Are you…a vampire?”

“…So you’ve realised?”

“You know that your fangs were completely visible when you smiled just now, right?”

“Ah…It’s not like I’m trying to hide it, though.”

After activating her teleportation magic, she broke out of the dungeon and dashed through the cave with all her might.
The passage was dark and narrow, almost like a cave.
She relied on her earlier memory of when she was being carried into the dungeon and used sensory magic to get through. And last, but not least, her own intuition.

She finally arrived at an intersection.
On her left was probably leading to the entrance Alysia was at before, and on her right she could feel the presence of more than ten people.

Just when Alysia turned right, she immediately found a large wooden door hindering her path. Eager to slash and smash the door into pieces, she proceeded to grab the katana on her waist,

“!?”

In her dream.
Her precious partner was not there to be found.

“Fine! Edge of Gust Esoteric!” (TL:Wind Blade Revised)

This technique was originally developed to equipping wind blades unto weapons, but Alysia revised it and used it on her own hand. Cladding her own hand with wind blades, she continued to pour down slashes on the poor door.

door breaks

“The heck!?”

“Wha!?”

The broken remnants of the door blown away by the strong wind turned into deadly attacks which assaulted the members of the room. The fragments finally stopped their attacks after rendering two of the bandits unconscious.

“Bastard!! Didn’t we put this one in the dungeon earlier!?”

“I’m certain that we did…”

“Oh, I escaped.”

“WUT?!”

Annoyed by the loud squealing of the three grown men, Alysia teleported behind them and slashed them with her wind blade.

“No! I’m going to die…”

“I’m going to get into trouble if you really did die.”

Blood flowed onto the surface of their clothes. Alysia judged that their wounds were shallow.
Giving a slight glance at the unconscious three bandits behind her, Alysia focused her gaze at the interior of the room. Seeing that slight glance, the bandits flinched for a moment.

“My katana…no, have you seen my thing that resembles a black curved rod?”

“Who would tell a bastard like you!!”

Even though the man said so, Alysia didn’t miss the slight hesitation on the man’s face before he opened his mouth. And he was clearly trembling.
She honestly wanted to start interrogating them right here, but just by knowing that her katana was only taken by the bandits put her heart at ease.

“Well then, just tell me where your big boss is.”

“Did you really think we would just tell you?”

Their answers were nonetheless too cliché. They probably wouldn’t tell her anything like this.
Alysia then took a small breath and said:

“Blaze Storm. Open your mouth before I reach one from ten. Ten…”

Flame started to form around Alysia. Being lead by the wind, they gather together to form a vortex, with their force increasing by the second.

“Eight, seven…”

“Wa–wait! I’ll tell you!!”

“T–this way!! Come this way, please!”

One of the bandits panicked and pointed his finger towards the right side of the room.
Alysia never had the intention to unleash her firestorm in first place and proceeded to disperse the remaining fire. She then started following the man. Although it was only a threat, the fact she was very close to turning each of them into charcoal hurt her conscience.

“H–here…”

“Right, thank you very much.”

Arriving at the last boss’s lair, Alysia gave the tour guide her thanks with a heartfelt smile on her face. It was the least she could do to ease the feeling of guilt from earlier. However, the guy’s face turned bright red immediately as he turned his face away. Looking at that, Alysia thought,

(Well…Of course he’d be angry if someone threatened him and then said ‘thanks’ afterwards, right?)

Alysia unexpectedly turned out to be quite thickheaded like those cliché protagonists.

Finally, in front of her was a large expansive area which resembled a hall, in which the last boss seemed to be at.

“Is anyone home?”

“You…”

Towards her carefree attitude, a guy who seemed to be the bandit boss responded from behind the desk where he was sitting at. When she looked closely, she realised that he was the guy who was standing across from her when she was being tied up.

“Well then, Let’s have a chat, shall we? Attacking the catkin village and even indiscriminately kidnapping the women and the children, just what are you planning to do, I wonder?”

“It’s none of your business, LEAVE Otherwise⸺”

“Please don’t say that line!! I’ll faint, you know?”

The boss stopped mid-sentence and gulped down his word. Why? Because Alysia had rushed towards him and crushed his solar plexus with her fist which had been imbued with magic.

“Answer me, what were you planning to do?”

“Do…”

“What?”

The boss said something but his voice was too quiet that she couldn’t hear it. The moment Alysia tried to ask him again,

“Did you think I was gonna answer you with just that?!”

“Aah?!”

Alysia took a full fist to her right flank. Although it was too late, she regretted the fact that she hadn’t pinned both of his hands down.
She felt something broke inside her body. Although she barely felt any pain, it seemed that quite a few of her ribs were broken. However, due to her high-tier self-healing (spontaneous recovery) ability, every one of her injuries were healed in the blink of an eye.

“If you want to know then you can get it over my dead body.”

“Understood. Then, I’ll just have to try!!”

Having invoked the wind blade (revised) spell, Alysia immediately aimed at the boss and fired her attack.

Whoosh!

Le Festin de Vampire ~ Chapter 03-03

03-03 Bandit Hideout 2

Editor: MantouInv, Nick0

Alysia blasted the door open and coming into her view was three people with awfully generic bandit attires, and another four wearing shabby clothings.
Bewildered by the situation, the bandits immediately shouted towards the inner door of the hideout.

“Le-Leader! An intruder just came in!!”

“More importantly, she’s a loli!”

Following that sentence, loud footsteps could be heard from the other side of the inner door. It was apparent to Alysia that several people were coming for her.
The moment the door opened slightly,

“Hydro Pump!!”

“Kyaaaaa!?”

“Uwaaaaa!!”

Alysia planned to blast the door open with her waterball attack. However, the result of this was a certain arm stuck inside the door, and a certain person violently blown away.

“…..D-damn loli….!!”
“Yo…..!!”

The three bandits grabbed the swords which were leaning on the wall and dashed towards Alysia.
The first man came slashing sideways. His slash was so strong, that it seemed as if he was trying to tear apart her slender figure.

“Too slow!!”

“Ah!?”

Unfortunately for him, his attack was no faster than slow motion to Alysia.
Alysia dodged his attack with fluency as she crouched down, and then proceeded to dodge the attack coming from the second man as if she was dancing as she back stepped. Naturally, she was able to easily dodged both of the attacks.

Expecting the late third man, Alysia lowered her posture, and dashed towards him. Arriving in front of him in an instant, she kicked his abdomen hard with her strengthened leg.

“Argh!?”

“W-wait!!”

Blood came out of his mouth as he was blown away. Crashing into another guy who was standing behind him, they both tumbled down onto the floor. Both of them appeared to have hit their heads and lost their consciousness.

“Well then..”

“Hiiii…..!!”

Alysia stood up and turned to face the lone survivor who was already frozen in fear. Seeing that, the man gasped and started trembling with fear due to the horror he was feeling.

She walked closer one step at a time, as if fueling the fear. With every step she took forward, he reflexively took a step back.
Although, it was quite obvious that person herself had no intention of doing so.

Zuush

“Aa….!!”

“G-nite!”

Just when they were about two steps away from each other, Alysia teleported to the back of the man. Touching the back of his neck, she poured a slight amount of mana inside. It was the technique she used during the tournament to knock down all her opponents.

Confirming that the three of them had passed out, she shifted her attention to the four dumbfounded people who were sitting down. After looking around carefully, she noticed that the four of them were actually catkins. Furthermore, she noticed that two of them were still around ten years old. One shota catboy and one loli catgirl.

“What happened to you guys?”

“We are……”

“Ah, you don’t have to tell me if it’s hard for you to.”

Although Alysia said that, the girl who was sitting besides the young boy started speaking.

“Our village was attacked by bandits…..and then, when I and the other three woke up just now, we were already here…”

“Is there no one else here?”

“There were more people in the village, but, everyone else was taken further inside.”

Hearing that, Alysia ended up imagining many horrible things she didn’t even want to imagine. She speculated that the bandits took people from various races from multicultural and multiracial countries and were selling them to countries where they were treated as slaves.

If that were true, then there is no way that Alysia would leave them alone. Needless to say, it was also because one of her besties, Fian, was a catgirl. Friendship knows no borders. Be it human or non-human, friendships between various different races are very precious.

“Okay. I’ll go save them now.”

“Eh? Really!?”

“You sure? We don’t want to trouble you so much….”

“It’s fine. I have my own reasons as well. Our interests just happened to be aligned.”

Breaking the silence, Alysia unsheathed her katana from her scabbard and headed towards the inner door.
The moment her delicate hand grabbed the knob of the door,

“Now! Seize the loli!!”

“Uwooo!!”

“What!?”

A group of bandits came marching on suddenly from behind the door like a black friday store stampede. A total of thirteen lowlives. Startled by the suddenness of the situation, Alysia failed to react on time. As a result, in the span of a few mere seconds, the bandits managed to tie a rope around her body, restricting her movements.

“Ku……!!”

“Hoo……What a cute loli we have here….”

Said the man standing next to Alysia. Judging by the other bandits’ fearful tones towards him, Alysia concluded that the man was probably their leader.

“You bastards, just throw this one into the dungeon for now. We can sell her or do anything we want afterwards.”

“Ooh!!”

Alysia was then taken by the subordinates and they took her into the dungeon together with the four other catkins just like that.

What Alysia saw that day, the despair written on the four catkins faces, was probably something that she would never ever forget in her whole life.
Fall

“Aargh!!”

“Ouch!”

Clink

“Don’t move your asses from there!!”

The man threw the five of them violently into the cell and proceeded to lock the door. The man then walked away nonchalantly while ignoring Alysia`s intense stare of disgust.

There were quite a few people who appeared to be catkins inside the dungeon. However, no one seemed to be in the mood to chatter. Everyone had their head facing down gloomily while looking sorrowful.

It might have been because there were too many people, or perhaps because the ground was used as a floor that the place felt far more humid than the entrance of the cave.

“Onee-chan, I’ll untie your rope.”

The young catkin lad from before said and began to untie the rope. Staring at him, Alysia immediately noticed that there were tears in his eyes which were about to overflow.

“Please…”

“Yes.”

The young lad started with the rope which was tying up her elbow and body in a circle. And then next, he continued with the rope on her back, which was tying up both of her wrists. Finally, he went to unfasten the part of the rope below her skirt which was tying up both of her legs. Alysia who already had both of her hands untied also joined in.

They finally managed to untie the ropes after a while. Without being prissy about sitting on the ground, Alysia fell lying on her back and stretched her arms and legs.

“Finally…..Thanks a bunch.”

“Onee-chan, are you hurt anywhere?”

“I’m fine. 100% fine. Just chill and I’ll let you guys out in a sec.”

“Okay.”

Alysia then hugged the little shota. Perhaps it was because of the trauma and fear of being attacked by the bandits and the warm sense of safety he was feeling that he buried his face in her chest, bursting out into tears. Alysia caressed the head of the shota gently, and from thereupon swore to herself that she would send everyone in that place back safely.

03-03 Bandit Hideout 2

TL: Aria Red
