Since there are feelings of ‘once started, finish it’ and also ‘the author dropped it…’, so maybe after the second arc, or maybe in a short while, I’m not too sure yet. But I don’t especially mind ‘sprouting my wings’ and flying away from this project.

Well I just got some info and we’ve got our picks the main translation’s looking like slime tensai assuming that everything in the scheduling works out with the one you linked as a possible secondary project. As we are a small team I think that’s all we’ll be working on in the foreseeable future thanks for the help.

Also, about festin you could write a fan continuation if you’ve got the talent for it (I would look forward to it) when done with the current total content. I could name several works that have been completed satisfactorily that way. However such a thing is not possible without everything that is currently done being translated. Anyways it’s just a suggestion I would never dream of forcing a translator to translate something they don’t want to do XD.

no way hozay amigo, though the thought of writing my own story, not really a fanfiction of this, interests me, i’m not all too good at english. doing this translating stuff actually somewhat helped me in my writing, but judging by the planning required to write, for example don’t fear the reaper, i’m not cut out for it. at least not yet.

To be honest it won’t be a new experience for me the last group I was in had that happen and this group is less organized. Agreed it is a sad event when it does happen but I learned from it. Our leader is actually from that group is how I got pulled in to find some translation materials.

oh, well even if it’s not organised, just gather at least once a week, probably on the weekends to fart out a chapter. maybe the person with the most free time can do website stuff, like creating links and homepage and stuff. also include buttons on each chapter for next chapter, table of contents, and previous page, it’s so useful

somewhat, yes, so now that you mention it, I don’t especially mind if someone picks it up, so then I can spend time on a finished/ongoing one. i think i know someone willing, but i’m not sure about it

personally the end isnt what is important its the journey and the feels along the way, so its dropped wont change the enjoyment we get up to that last chapter 😉

i cant speak for everyone but I can for myself, and in my honest opinion i can say i will never regret reading this. even tempted to read the raws to finish whats left just so i can get more of the story.

Two sides to it, one is ‘yeah, once you start you finish’ and the other is ‘ehhhh, it’s been dropped, so…’ but if I do want to ‘give’ that group the project, I’ll might so after finishing the whole second arc. So I’ll still be doing it, maybe.

Not like it matters. There it says that the author has been having a hectic time at school and a bit of a slump, but will come back with renewed forces (and perhaps start working on other things besides this novel), but that was posted exactly a month since the uploading of the last revised chapter, so it does’t explain this 3-years hiatus with no signs of life.

I wanted to read 死んで始まり but it was revised and the unrevised was deleted, but the revised was dropped. Sometimes I wonder what those 作者たち are doing.. At least this author left the unrevised untouched.

One thing, retranslate the titles, as they aren’t really the most accurate since I sped through them. And remove the “Best Ending. Totes Magotes”, as that is a fake.
One thing too, you shouldn’t rely on me to check your stuff, try getting MadoSpicy or someone, since he is a native Japanese speaker.
